My organization has recognized the use of Voalte phones as a trend in healthcare information technology. All of the healthcare workers at my organization may get protected texts on their smartphones, respond to patient call lights, place and receive direct calls, and get crucial warnings in the event of an emergency thanks to the Voalte technology application (Dongmo Fotsing et al., 2021). This technology encourages effective operations and makes it possible to respond to patients right away. Also, it has been discovered that the application creates a peaceful hospital atmosphere by reducing background noise.
One of the difficulties with using Voalte technology is the connectivity problem. There are instances when calls are lost, the network hangs, and messages cannot be transmitted (Simacek et al., 2020). As a result, communication is severely hindered. For instance, there may have been a time when the network hand prevented the transmission of a crucial patient’s communication. This has a significant effect on how the patient’s therapy is communicated. Moreover, staff members might not have the skills and expertise needed to use the application (Mcgonigle & Mastrian, 2022). Evidence suggests that education and training are necessary for technology applications to ensure end-user competency and skillfulness.
A significant impact on nursing technology is anticipated from the expansion of telemedicine in the healthcare industry. Telemedicine, which uses technology to assess, manage, prevent, and research ailments to enhance health, is the practice of providing medical services remotely. remotely. Telehealth allows for the monitoring and care of patients even when they are far away. According to Simacek et al., (2021), this significantly enhances health outcomes for individuals who have persistent illnesses as well as those who have trouble receiving care because of geographical restrictions. For patients with chronic diseases, telehealth, for instance, allows for tracking of progress and compliance with prescribed medicines, which has been shown to improve health outcomes. It also allows for the inclusion of family members in care.
Conclusion
Because of advances in mobile technology and an increase in mobile users, the usage of cell phones for patient care has increased. Thanks to developing data and communication technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT), several sections of the health business have adopted mobile technology (Sharma et al., 2022). As a result, the technology may eventually be able to develop into useful medical equipment that will benefit the healthcare sector at all phases of therapy. The idea uses, and benefits of mobile technology for healthcare and the current epidemic have been examined in this paper. Moreover, it covers the potential for improving the uses of mobile health technology for unanticipated future health emergencies as well as its role as a support system for efficient and safer care for public health.
